Product Review: Flower Beauty About Face Foundation with Primer

Alas! A drugstore foundation that I can count on. I was eager to try this new celebrity endorsed foundation so I picked up a bottle at Walmart. This cosmetic line by Drew Barrymoore is exclusive to Wal-Mart. This foundation has a built in primer so it goes on smooth and blends into the skin very well. The coverage ranges from medium to full. Two layers gives me a full coverage. My skin looked smooth, pore less, with a natural satin finish.

My color is number 11. Here is a swatch of the foundation on my arm.

I would absolutely recommend this foundation for normal, dry and combination skin types. For those that are oily this foundation won’t dry matte. It did not break me out, looked fabulous on my skin and the color ranges are strong with 14 in total. The colors come in warm and cool tones. This does in fact come with a pump. (I learned the hard way!!) Don’t pull the cap off, twist to find the pump.

If you can get into a Walmart to swatch this or at least take a look at the bottle that would be the best way to pick a shade. Unfortunately the colors online look very light even though they have deep tan colors that suit my MAC NC42 skin tone. Next to my holy grail Nars Sheer Glow foundation this drugstore pick would be my second choice! I endorse this foundation. I hope you try and share your thoughts with me down below.

  1. I love this foundation, too! I use just one coat, which works for me. Mine came with a pump! So that’s interesting that yours didn’t… But glad you enjoy it, too!
