My first job in the beauty industry was at 17, I worked at Macy’s under the Clinique brand. I discovered so many amazing products including the eye cream I would use for over 10 years. I loved Clinique’s All About Eyes. This formula is silky and light. It glides on so well, de-puffs and reduces under eye circles. I can’t say enough about it. If you are young and just trying out eye cream I would totally recommend this item to you.
My skin on the other hand has changed and so has my eye cream. Over the last few years the skin under my eyes have gotten dryer. I noticed my concealer would settle into some fine lines and it make me look older. I did panic at first because I though I couldn’t do much about it and just accepted the fact that my skin was aging. As the skin got dryer it got tighter and I felt like I couldn’t smile without stretching my skin. So I decided I was going to try a new eye cream. I purposely sought out a wrinkle repair cream. I chose Clinique of course, how could I not? I purchased the Clinique Repairwear Laser Focus Wrinkle Correcting Eye Cream and it changed my skin. It worked! Oh I was so thrilled. The cream was just what my under eye area needed. It moisturizes well but doesn’t feel greasy or cause my makeup to slip. I no longer have fine lines under my eyes. Fine lines are caused by dryness not age. However with age your skin can get dryer.
A quick lesson for you if you feel like your skin is changing. Change your moisturizer. Change your eye cream. It makes a difference. Just get sample from a counter at Sephora. Also remember that not every cream you meet you will like. Try a few different formulas for 1-2 weeks each. Let me know if you have come across a skin or eye cream that you love.
